"The Wolf-Blood Queen and the Raven Battle Garment"
Part One
Snowflakes mixed with ice pellets pelted my face as I huddled at the base of the Raven God's temple steps, pulling the fleece-lined top tighter around me. The silver wolf emblem at the collar flickered in the blizzard, its raised fleece guard deflecting the bitter wind.
This was the last garment I'd bought at the modern mall. Just three hours earlier, my father had handed the project I'd managed all season to his inexperienced son. I'd rushed out into the snowstorm, wanting only a quiet place, until a flash of lightning left me standing before this strange Nordic temple.
"A wanderer?"
A cool female voice came from above. I looked up to see a woman in chainmail standing on the steps, her tall frame silhouetted by torchlight. As her gaze settled on me, I suddenly noticed the small mole on the tip of her nose.
My heart lurched—this was unmistakably Ning Yi, the shield-maiden from the Nordic novel I'd read! But according to the story, she was supposed to die in tonight's blizzard.

Part Two
"Your garment..." Ning Yi's eyes fixed on the silver wolf embroidery at my collar. "That is the emblem of House Ulfr."
I learned then that in this altered Norse legend, Ning Yi was the Oracle of the Raven Temple, betrayed by her brother Eirik. To marry a witch from a rival clan, Eirik planned to exile Ning Yi to the ice fields.
"Come with me." I took her freezing hand and led her into a temple alcove.
When I took off the fleece top and offered it to her, she gently touched the inner lining. "This is... wolf fur?"
"Fleece," I explained softly. "Warmer than the real thing."
As she put on this modern-made top, something miraculous happened—the silver wolf emblem at the collar began to glow faintly, resonating with the sacred mark on her palm.
"Legend says the sacred relic of House Ulfr can awaken bloodline power..." She stared at me in disbelief. "Who are you, truly?"

Part Three
We fled north through the night.
The blizzard intensified, but protected by the fleece top, Ning Yi's body warmth steadily returned. The specialized fleece lining blocked the wind, while the elastic cuffs allowed her to grip her sword freely.
"Look." She pointed into the distance.
On a ridge under the moonlight, a real wolf pack howled at the sky. More wondrous still, the silver wolf on my top glowed again, and the wolves bowed their heads toward us.
"They recognize this garment." Ning Yi touched the embroidered wolf. "This is the token of the Wolf-Blood Queen."
Just then, the Raven Temple's hunters found us. As arrows rained down, Ning Yi instinctively raised her arm to block—and the special fibers at the shoulder formed a small shield, deflecting the arrows.
"This garment..." She stared at me, stunned.
I suddenly remembered the product description: Made with nano-fleece, featuring temperature regulation and basic protective functions. In this mythical world, technology had become magic.
Part Four
By the campfire in the northern territory, Ning Yi pointed at three strongholds on the sand table.
"Eirik plans to give them as a wedding gift." Her voice was colder than the tundra wind.
Looking at the faintly glowing fleece top she wore, an idea struck me. I plucked a single fleece thread from the cuff and dipped it into melted snow. The thread absorbed the moisture and projected a 3D hologram of the stronghold's structure—a function of the smart fibers woven into the fabric.
"Here," I pointed to a weakness in the projection. "Eirik gave you faulty defense plans."
Ning Yi's eyes widened. "How did you..."
"I also know the witch planted explosive runes in the granary." I brushed the fleece surface. "This garment... lets me see the truth."
That night, using the top's warmth, we led an elite squad across the frozen plains and disarmed all the runes in advance.

Part Five
On the day of the final confrontation, Ning Yi stood at the highest point of the Raven Temple, wearing the silver wolf fleece top.
Eirik roared from below, "By what right do you defy me?"
She spread her arms. The fleece trembled in the wind as the silver wolf emblem blazed with brilliant light. More astonishingly, the distant wolf pack on the ridge howled in unison, their cries shaking the heavens.
"By this right." She threw open her outer robe, revealing the complete fleece top.
The temple's sacred light of inheritance suddenly converged upon her—this modern-made garment had perfectly restored the long-lost sacred relic of the wolf bloodline.
As Eirik and the witch were exiled to the border, he stared furiously at her clothing. "Impossible... the Ulfr relic was lost..."
"Perhaps," Ning Yi gently touched the silver wolf at her collar, "fate delivered it to me."

Part Six
On the eve of her coronation, my body began turning translucent.
"Stay." Ning Yi clutched my sleeve, the fleece trembling between her fingers.
I shook my head and pressed the final item into her hand—an identical fleece top. "So you will never be alone."
When she put on the second top, the silver wolf emblems on both garments glowed simultaneously, creating a strange, beautiful halo.
"They will always answer each other," I whispered, as my body slowly dissolved into starlight.

Part Seven
When my eyes opened again, I was back in the modern mall.
A news notification flashed on my phone: New Nordic Archaeological Discovery - The Twin Wolf Robes of the Ice Plains Queen.
The attached picture showed an ice sculpture of Ning Yi wearing two silver wolf fleece tops, exactly as I remembered.
Smiling, I opened the shopping app and wrote a review for that fleece top:
"In another time and space, this garment once protected a queen."
Outside, snow had begun to fall again. And I knew deeply that in some distant Norse myth, a girl was wearing the same top, leading her wolves and her kingdom.
