Payment Methods

At Defwear, we aim to provide secure and convenient payment options to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible.

Available payment methods will be clearly displayed at checkout. Certain payment options may vary depending on your location, device, order details or the requirements of the relevant payment provider.

The total amount payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be displayed before you place your order.

PAY WITH PAYPAL

If you select PayPal at checkout, you will be redirected to PayPal's secure payment page, where you can complete your payment by signing in to your PayPal account.

Where available, PayPal may also allow eligible customers to pay using a debit or credit card without signing in to or creating a PayPal account.

If this option is available, select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” or the equivalent option shown on the PayPal payment page and follow the instructions provided by PayPal.

Please note that PayPal Guest Checkout is not guaranteed to be available for every transaction. Availability is determined by PayPal and may depend on factors including:

  • PayPal's security checks
  • PayPal's eligibility requirements

Before completing payment, please make sure that your delivery address, billing information and contact details are complete and accurate.

PAY WITH A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD

Defwear accepts eligible major credit and debit cards displayed at checkout, which may include:

When you pay by credit or debit card, your payment information may be securely processed by our third-party payment service providers.

Where your payment information is processed directly by a payment provider, Defwear does not normally directly store your complete credit or debit card number or card security code.

before submitting your payment.

Your bank or card issuer may carry out additional security or authentication checks before approving your transaction.

If you have questions regarding an authorisation, pending payment or declined transaction, you may also need to contact your bank or card issuer.

ORDER TOTAL & DELIVERY CHARGES

Before you place your order, Defwear will display the applicable price and delivery information.

Our current UK delivery options are:

Standard Shipping: £3.99

Express Shipping: £8.99

Free Standard Shipping on orders of £69.99 or more

Any applicable delivery charge will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Express Shipping is an optional delivery service and will only apply where you select it.

UK online-selling rules require traders to show customers how they can pay, the total price and applicable delivery costs before an order is placed. Optional additional charges must also be based on the customer's express choice.

PROMO CODES

If you have a valid promotional or discount code, enter it in the designated field at checkout and select “Apply”.

Please make sure that the discount has been correctly reflected in your order total before completing your payment.

Promotional codes may be subject to conditions such as:

  • Expiry dates
  • Eligible products
  • Minimum purchase requirements
  • Customer eligibility
  • Maximum uses
  • Other stated promotional restrictions

Unless otherwise stated in the relevant promotion, promotional codes may not be combined with other offers.

Promotional pricing and conditions will be presented as clearly as reasonably possible. UK businesses are required to provide clear and accurate pricing information and must not hide unavoidable charges from consumers.

PAYMENT SECURITY

Defwear works with third-party payment service providers to process payments securely.

Payment methods and payment-processing services available at checkout may change from time to time.

For security purposes, your:

  • Bank
  • Card issuer
  • PayPal
  • Payment processor
  • Fraud-prevention provider

may perform additional verification before approving a transaction.

Please do not send your complete card number, CVV/security code, online banking password or other sensitive payment credentials to Defwear by email.

If we need information relating to a payment issue, we will not ask you to send your full card security details by ordinary email.

PAYMENT CHARGES

Defwear will not hide mandatory fees or charges until the final stage of checkout.

Where UK law prohibits a payment surcharge for a particular consumer payment method, Defwear will not impose such a surcharge.

UK rules prohibit surcharges for a wide range of consumer payment methods, including many common card transactions.

Any total amount you are required to pay will be presented before your order is submitted.

PAYMENT TROUBLESHOOTING

We currently support PayPal and eligible credit or debit card payments, subject to the payment methods displayed at checkout.

If your payment is declined, it does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your card.

A transaction may be declined because of:

  • Incorrect payment information
  • Insufficient available funds
  • Bank security checks
  • Card restrictions
  • Authentication failure
  • Fraud-prevention checks
  • Payment-provider restrictions
  • Temporary technical issues

If your payment is unsuccessful, please try the following:

1. Check Your Payment Information

Make sure your:

  • Card number
  • Expiry date
  • Security code
  • Billing address
  • Name

are entered correctly.

2. Contact Your Bank or Card Issuer

Your bank may have declined or blocked the transaction.

Contact your bank or card issuer for further information.

3. Try PayPal

If PayPal is available at checkout, you may choose PayPal and complete payment through your PayPal account.

4. Use PayPal Guest Checkout, If Available

If PayPal displays a “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” option, you may be able to complete your payment without signing into a PayPal account.

This option is controlled by PayPal and may not be available for every customer or transaction.

5. Try Another Eligible Card

If one card is declined, you may use another eligible payment method displayed at checkout.

PAYING BY CARD THROUGH PAYPAL, WHEN AVAILABLE

If PayPal Guest Checkout is available for your transaction:

Select PayPal at Defwear checkout.

Step 2

On the PayPal payment page, select:

“Pay with Debit or Credit Card”

or the equivalent option displayed by PayPal.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

After placing your order, Defwear will send an order acknowledgement or confirmation to the email address you provided.

Please check that the information shown is correct.

The point at which your order becomes legally accepted by Defwear is governed by our Terms and Conditions and the information presented during checkout.

UK online-selling rules also require the contract to be confirmed in a form that the customer can keep, such as by email.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. Please ensure that your delivery address, billing information and contact information are accurate before submitting your order.
  2. The payment methods available to you are the methods displayed on the checkout page at the time of purchase.
  3. Payment authorisation or processing delays may occasionally occur because of your bank, card issuer, PayPal, payment processor, authentication checks or fraud-prevention systems.
  4. If a payment fails, avoid repeatedly submitting the same payment within a short period. Multiple attempts may result in temporary pending authorisations appearing on your account.
  5. A pending card authorisation does not necessarily mean that Defwear has successfully received payment. Your bank or payment provider can provide further information regarding pending authorisations.
  6. Defwear will clearly show the price and applicable delivery charges before you submit an order.
